Wondered how and when u came in to this life
And have become so much important
Didn’t ever knew what was to capture it so close
And so dearly, didn’t know why, what and when,
You stand there still, its like wishing for a moon
And the stars,sometimes I wish u could change the destiny
I me myself, just to be there and along……..
Knowing that there is a chord that ties both..
But still together and yet so far from a rose
With so many questions and untold answers
Its like spun in to a yarn and all so locked and closed.
Standing there all alone as the seasons pass
What is the end of everthing ?
That’s the question I ‘d love to ask
I have holded the sand so tightly in my hand
But still its going away from me
A mirage is that’s what I feel
The smile the tears the joy the pain
Knitted well but so much in vain
I ask THY above I want no stars and the moon
Grant me what I want and give me soon!!.........

The Arabian Nights!!

I must say, the East is always been very fasinated and i have always been drawn to the myths and mysteries.That brings me to a the most famous mysteries of ARABIA the land of dazzling mystic beauty and MAGIC. I just love the stories of ARABIAN NIGHTS, its still a myth that is this book a fiction or was it real, this is still yet to be known, but as for me its a wonderfull book of lovely heart capturing stories.The Thousand and One Nights (alf layla wa layla) or The Arabian Nights, as they came to be known, owes its origins to three distinct cultures and storytelling traditions: that of India, Persia and the Arab world. The Arabian Nights first appeared in its Arabic form around 850 AD and it has been considered a remarkable mystery in Classical Arabic Literature. Although many scholars deny its literary importance, The Arabian Nights can be viewed as a valuable source of Middle Eastern social history, being composed of the most extensive and intimate recordings of the medieval Islamic period. Generations of Arabic readers have appreciated the versatile and imaginative use of Arabic and the mixture of the classical and colloquial language in many of the stories, a style which helped diversify the characters from the narrative.
Two of the most popular stories in The Arabian Nights are those of 'Shahriyar and Shahrazad', the first and main story, and 'Sinbad the Sailor'. The tales bear three main elements or notions which are typical of all the stories in the collection: 1) If there is a problem, there is a solution; 2) Endurance can enable a crisis to reach a resolution; and 3) Fantastic elements help the protagonists to maintain their endurance.
In the story of Shahriyar and Shahrazad, the reader is introduced to Shahriyar, a mythical king, who upon discovering his wife's infidelity has her put to death. Henceforth, fearing further sexual betrayals, he only weds virgin brides whom he takes to his bed for a single night and has beheaded the following morning. The story reaches its crisis as the king's murderous actions threaten the lives of all the girls in the kingdom. The solution comes from the clever and beautiful Shahrazad, who volunteers herself to be the king's next wife and strikes a bargain with him by which he will not put her to death until she has told him a story. Her story, or stories, since many tales are interwoven and imbedded into the first, lasts for two years and 271 days, if we are to take the 1001 nights literary. The continuous story-telling manages to captivate the king's attention and hold his patience with its fantastic and mysterious tales, its vivid descriptions and breath-taking heroism. Shahrazad's story-telling is in itself a heroic and life-saving device, which finally forces the king to spare the wise and courageous girl's life.Wisdom is seen as a powerful if not invincible tool in many of the stories, not least in the story of Sinbad the Sailor. As in the tale of Shahriyar and Shahrazad, Sinbad's story comprises of many other stories which the hero relates to a gathering of noblemen in the form of seven adventures. On each land or sea voyage, Sinbad comes across foreign lands and strange creatures, which allow him to show his intelligence and courage. On every journey, Sinbad reaches a crisis as he braves a dangerous creature or an evil tyrant but he always finds a solution by using his ingenuity, his diplomacy and his strength. Sinbad does not rely on the power of destiny or on God, instead the hero takes matters into his own hands, risking devastating consequences which, luckily, bring with them great rewards. After every story, Sinbad manages to return safely to Baghdad and so one story ends and another begins forming a dramatic and exciting cycle of heroic acts.While The Arabian Nights knew great popularity throughout the Middle East, it was rapidly translated into a number of other languages, showing its early appeal to non-Middle Eastern readers. Although the subtleties of language are unfortunately lost in translation, the exotic and romantic imagery provided great inspiration for the Western travellers, writers, artists and poets of the 18th and 19th centuries whom we refer to as 'Orientalists'. This period saw a surge of interest in the Middle East and Persian poems such as The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam etc. Romantic poets such as Coleridge, Tennyson, Shelley and Byron were greatly inspired by the mysterious and magical East. 'Arabian' imagery, Middle Eastern history and folklore also provided painters,writers, musicians with endless inspiration. Writers such as Walter Bagshot appreciated the wild exoticism of the tales, comparing them to the drab realities of Europe in the age of the railway and the gas lamp. During the later 19th century and 20th century, the Western obsession with The Arabian Nights themes was still strong, as we see from Leon Bakst's Russian Ballet designs for Scheherazad and the endless cartoons and Hollywood films from the forties and fifties which are based on the adventures of Sinbad, Aladdin and other stories from, or based on The Arabian Nights.
As we begin the 21st century, the influence and subsistence of The Arabian Nights legacy can still be felt, whether it is in literature, art, music or fashion. The timeless tales of ingenuity and heroism offer universal and positive appeal to the heroic, Bedouin fantasies of Arabs and Westerners alike.

MY JESUS

Hey to be honest i dont know how to begun with, as today i have had a surprisingly a good start of the day,last night i had a very sweet dream of "JESUS" today when i woke up i just felt so different about myself, dont know how to express that feeling in words so fresh and light.It makes me remind me when i was a kid and i didnt knew anything what was "GOD" and all about his exsistance in this world, not even when i recived my first holy communion.Well untill one fine day when i was in my secondary school and i had failed in my unit test, and i was so depressed that i was all alone with my self and didnt even knew how to pray, or rather didnt mean what i prayed or siad. I remember it very vividly it was sunday afternoon and i was sitting alone outside my house on a parapit and looking up to the sky so blue and clear, and was sadly gazing at it, and at that moment my GODFATHER just came and asked me what happend, why was i so sad, i told him that i didnt do well in my exams and dont know why does GOD allow all these sad moments in our lives, then he told me DO U KNOW GOD? and i siad ya who is in church and then he told me, no JESUS is the replica of GOD we have not seen, andJESUS he is a loving person and u can be his friend and talk to him what you want, what u like and what u feel as well.JESUS loves us all and so is you, that was the journey of my spiritual exploration, and i owe this all to my GODFATHER.Afterall it was after that incident that i realized how to move on with my life no matter what the hardships may come, and also that after every tough exams in our lives we just become better and stronger to face the storms ahead . After that i was really keen in knowing about my religion and was close to my spiritual side of my life( am not ashamed to mention it no matter what the world thinks).Then as i grew I was more occupied with my life than to pay attention with my spiritual life, but JESUS has been there for me when ever I want him or need him, although I have been thinking a lot about my life and what I should do with it, I STRONGLY TRUST IN JESUS . Has been my strength and my hope when I was hopeless or broken in my life .Even today I am busy with my life and working, hardly get time to go to church or spend time with GOD, but I know at the end of the day I say in my heart I LOVE U JESUS . I can never break away from the spiritual experience that I have had about JESUS in my most impressionable age as I grew up. So far life has been a journey within my self to learn and grow and know more as I move ahead with my life but all that I am today I will OWE to HIM always as he has been my only ONE, whom I have gone up to when I am all alone in the walk of my life.Today I have flashed all the memeories of my childhood so loving and so sweet that I feel very nice today to have remembered all this , seems like yesterday…… But as for now I have to get back to work , am feeling just so nice. Anyways I will be back soon………………

WHAT IS LOVE??

Hey all of u!! u must be thinking what are these hearts doing, as valentine is long passed,well then today i am here to speak about the most unversal unsolved mystery of" LOVE". After all WHAT IS LOVE? there has been lots of studies on this subject, but no vivid answers to it, at all.Today i am here to put my own perspective as to, what is it all about,to begin with its a one universal feeling that all of us have it be it in any form whether it's romantic love, brotherly love, self-love, love for a pet, whatever--good or bad, we can't get out of it," and thats a fact.

We all are compelled to love in our lives, it may sound contradicting as to what is that within us that makes us love someone or something too much that we find being with that person or object, so much without specific reason in our minds,its such a strong feeling that we just cant stop it from letting it go. Though there are many strings attached to it like LUST, OBBSESSION & POSSIVENESS to it which hinders the true meaning of love, although its a part of it but depends on an indivual how he persives and takes it to a vivid and a better way of expressing LOVE.This feeling is not a dictated term or an Autocratic way, but its in the nature that we are born. One of the most indespensable foundations . After all what we do with or lives staying alive and its this feeling of LOVE that endures us to survive, be it love of person, money,status,objects etc.Notorious as it may sound but its a comprehensive complex phenomenon in this world.

One of the most vivid emotions but yet so confusing and intimate in nature . LOVE is not directed to us but structured with our will and our aims in our lives ,to buld up our individual identity . The only purest form of love can be that of GOD or THE “UNIVERSAL POWER” that we belive in, coz its uncondtional LOVE, no strings attached to it and the human LOVE is all based on condition, be it of anykind but its all altered to the perception, but no logical reasoning behind it. To go on with it this topic,it may never stop and may take ages to keep on mentioning the definations , as there is no such specific definations ,but the alterations that has taken place with time and that will take place in future as the society changes and the norms are changed along with it.But its true that no matter what LOVE is one thing in this world that can never be possed, begged, borrowed or stolen, it was and will be the greatest things ever gifted to MANKIND.
TRUE LOVE does exist in this world!!!

PRINCESS DIANA!

I have been really fasinated with "PRINCES DIANA" and her life as she was known as the queen of hearts,so very true ,she was one beautiful women who wanted to live her life close to people and had to pay a price for it, with all the 'rubbish' tags that people tried to give her, and ultimately 'DIE'.What a end of a wonderful soul, who just longed for "LOVE" .Till today her death is a mystery and i was really shocked about it my self,the price she payed to get married to the man she loved (DODI) and he was a man who really and truely loved her and wanted her to be his own by being his wife, but i guess destiny had someting else or should i put it that,some of the royal family had something else for her. Ever since Princess Diana's tragic death on August 31, 1997, millions of words have been written and spoken about what really happened the night she died, and why. Perhaps, not unlike the murder of JFK, we will never truly know the whys and wherefores of that night. To put things into perspective, let's take a look at that fateful night.

WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT: THE ACCIDENT
At precisely 12:15 A.M. on Sunday, August 31, 1997, the security staff of the Ritz Hotel were alerted.
Dodi and Diana were ready to depart through the rear entrance of the hotel. The green Range Rover and the decoy black Mercedes (the latter driven by the hotel's senior limousine driver) pulled out into the Place Vendome, circles the square and then returned to their parking spots. The photographers there were stymied.
Meantime, the second black 1994 Mercedes S-280, with Henri Paul at the wheel and Trevor Rees-Jones in the passenger seat, sped away from the rear of Ritz; Dodi was behind Paul, Diana on his right, behind Rees-Jones. In the excitement, only Rees-Jones fastened his seat belt. It was 12:20 when the car sped south on Rue Cambon, then went along Rue de Rivoli and past the splashing, illuminated fountain and Egyptian obelisk of the Place de la Concorde. By the time the Mercedes was hugging the Seine and heading toward the underpass, the few paparazzi on motorbikes had dropped behind. Photographs of speeding cars (more to the point, of their occupants) are notoriously difficult to obtain at night; besides, the windows of the Mercedes were heavily tinted. Nor did any of these men wish to risk their lives by edging their bikes close to a speeding vehicle.Hence, the "Paparazzi killed Diana" theory turns out to be bull.
By the time Henri Paul and his passengers entered the Alma tunnel, the photographers were almost a quarter mile behind, keeping the car in sight but not endangering themselves by approaching the speeding Mercedes. It would be enough to arrive at Dodi's apartment, where several other colleagues of the pursuing paparazzi had already been alerted.
But another limousine driver entered the tunnel not far behind Paul, and this driver made a sworn statement of what happened---events that occurred within a few seconds, changing the course of countless lives and, it may be said without hyperbole, altering the course of late-twentieth-century history. The driver's account, it must be said, was in every way supported by police and by later forensic investigations of the site. And it is important to add that all police and official investigations discounted the proximity of paparazzi with blinding flashbulbs, on motorcycles.
Paul entered the tunnel on the left of two lanes and speeding at sixty to perhaps eighty miles an hour, which is not at all unusual in European cities---and then he found his car was behind a slower vehicle. Careful though this driver might otherwise have been, it is easy to imagine Dodi urging him on: "Faster! Lose them! Go on!"--- as friends and colleagues recalled, he usually did. Life was a chase Dodi wanted to win, a game in which he wanted both to be in the limelight and to retain his privacy. Henri Paul, in a healthier condition, may well have been more cautious, but as Claude Luc said, Fayed employees did what they were told---period.
Paul veered the Mercedes to the right, to pass the car ahead of him in the left lane. But then everything went out of control, and the right rear of the Mercedes swerved and hit the right wall of the tunnel with a loud crash. Attempting to correct the situation, Paul turned sharply left---and within seconds the Mercedes crashed into one of the reinforced concrete dividing pillars that separated the lanes from oncoming traffic and also supported the roof. The time the sound, like an explosion, was nearly deafening.
The car ricocheted again, hurtling across the drive and spinning around before coming to a full stop. It has been immediately reduced to a barely recognizable mound of steel: the front end telescoped into the engine, which was forced almost through the driver's seat. Inside the pile of rubble, Henri Paul and Dodi al-Fayed were dead, their bodies hideously mangled. Trevor Reed-Jones was seriously injured, but Diana, Princess of Wales, was near death. It was 12:24 AM. But still there are some many questions in my mind even if the whole senerio is stated to me,i still feel there was something that was not right,coz there were many roumers that the ROYAL fly, did not like the princess getting married with a ISLAMIC and change the norms of the ROYAL FAMILY, as this would bring a lots of complications and i suppose this was not very much well percived by the "QUEEN OF ENGLAND".Well watever may be the truth, but i belive she will be in a wonderfull world now forever!!!

The Mummy's Curse
The Egyptians were preoccupied with the cult of the dead. The mummified bodies of kings and commoners were placed in tombs filled with all the necessities of life. To protect the deceased in the afterlife and to prevent robbers or political enemies from desecrating the burials, the tombs were hidden in out-of-the-way places and a curse was invoked against violators.

The belief in the mummy's curse was rekindled when Lord Carnarvon, patron of Howard Carter's archaeological excavations, died five months after the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb. He died of blood poisoning following a mosquito bite that became infected.

Prior to his death, Carter's yellow canary perished under strange circumstances. Carter had bought a canary in a gilded cage with the idea that its song would cheer up his lonely house. Upon seeing the bird, one of his servants exclaimed, "it's a bird of gold that will bring luck. This year we will find, inshallah (God willing), a tomb full of gold." Within a week of purchasing the canary, Carter discovered Tut's tomb. Not knowing whose tomb they had found, the workers nicknamed it "the tomb of the Golden Bird".

The death of the canary at this most propitious moment was seen as a bad omen. Here is an account of what happened to the canary from the report of the inspector general in charge of antiquities.

During the recent excavations which led to the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamen, Mr. Howard Carter (the discoverer) had in his house a canary which daily regaled him with its happy song. On the day, however, on which the entrance to the tomb was laid bare, a cobra entered the house, pounced on the bird, and swallowed it. Now, cobras are rare in Egypt, and are seldom seen in winter; but in ancient times they were regarded as the symbol of royalty, and each Pharaoh wore the symbol upon his forehead, as though to signify his power to strike and sting his enemies.

Who knows - some people believe that the protective curses placed on Tut's tomb and those of his ancestors may have been responsible for these two deaths!
